Upgrade Your Browser
On August 17, 2020, Microsoft announced it was beginning to phase out support for Internet Explorer 11 (read Microsoft's announcement here), stating that it is only being retained as a "compatibility solution" for web-based tools that require it. IE11 already doesn't support many current web standards and is known for having security vulnerabilities. As Microsoft phases out its support for IE11, these security vulnerabilities will no longer be patched, putting you and your Workzone data at risk.
Because of this, Workzone has phased out support for IE11 as of December 31, 2020. This will mean that we will no longer test new Workzone features in the browser, nor will we be fixing any issues that may arise in future releases.
As of January 31, 2021, it is no longer possible to access Workzone via IE11.
We encourage you, for your own protection, to completely migrate away from IE11 as soon as possible. While Workzone may work well in most up-to-date browsers, we officially support Chrome, Firefox, and Edge on PC (along with Chrome, Firefox, and Safari on Mac). Microsoft has provided additional information on Making the switch from Internet Explorer to Edge.
Once you switch browsers, you will likely need to set your new browser as the default browser on your computer. Here are a list of support articles that can help with that process:
